Order Form Extractions

Learn how to use extractions to automate data display throughout the application

Order Forms Order Info Notifications

Overview

An extraction is a piece of information that is ‘extracted’ out of an order form to be used elsewhere in the app. Extractions are created ad-hoc by your Customer Service Representative but you will see two extraction types out-of-the-box in your Order Type Configurator:

  1. Order ID
  2. Requested Date
  3. Additional Extractions: Speak to your Customer Service Representative to create and leverage more extractions in Tables and Notifications

How to use

  1. Navigate to the Order Form Configurator in the Admin App
  2. Within a field, click ‘+ Add Extraction’ to designate a form field as the extraction.

  3. Publish the order form, and you are all set

Order ID

This piece of information will be used as your primary order identifier throughout the app:

  • Order Overview Identifer

  • Task Card Order Identifier

  • Order Table Column

  • Notification Rules Key into a message Subject or Body %order_user_defined_id% in order to include this order id in your notifications. See Notification Keys

Requested Date

This piece of information will be used as your requested date throughout the application and can be used to automate a due date setting:

  • Order Overview Requested Date

  • Order Table Column

  • Notification Rules Key into a message Subject or Body %order_need_date% in order to include this date in your notifications. See Notification Keys
